The Monterey pine tree is a species which grows in New Zealand, Scandinavia, and Canada, where it is also known as Pinus radiata. Our FSC certified timber from New Zealand, where this fast-growing wood is carefully grown in well-managed forests, making it a great choice for the environment.
This conifer belongs to the Pinaceae family, which is known for being fast-growing and versatile with desirable lumber qualities. It is the most widely planted pine in the world, and it can even help to rehabilitate damaged soil after intensive farming and livestock compaction.
