What Shutter Louvres should you choose?

Shutter Louvres, also known as slats, are the main part of a shutter blind because they are what you control when choosing the amount of lighting and privacy in your room. There are other important features of a shutter including the tilt systems, lockable mechanisms and of course the shutter finish.

Our louvres come in 5 sizes for you to choose from starting at 32mm being the smallest of our range. The smaller the louvre, the less light you let in but the more privacy you will have. These could be most suitable for a bathroom or even bedrooms where you want as much darkness and privacy as possible. The largest of our louvres, the 89mm, is more suitable for those customers who want more light coming through as they open up wider. These are also great for rooms that do not need as much privacy during the day, letting in as much daylight possible and even the summer air during the warmer months.
